5/5

Jeanette listened to what we wanted, saw our vision and made this real. If we needed to make changes, she was very accommodating, not pushy and very good at what she does. We've had comments since from both customers and businesses on the professionalism of our website.

Overview

Grappenhall Kitchen Company (GKC) launched in June 2019 as a brand-new business. Founded by Neil and Carole, they combined their skills and talents to create the prestigious kitchen design and installation business in the North West.

Bloom Creative Design worked with GKC from the beginning and continues to help them occupy a very high position in search engine results pages.

GKC presented Bloom Creative Design with a brief that stated they would be relying upon their website for leads and customers, as they were not due to have a showroom for the foreseeable future.

The Problem

While being a new business is something to celebrate, the problem can be ‘getting the word out’.

GKC approached Bloom Creative Design with their fledgling company which began without a logo, website or social media presence.

This gave the Bloom team a ‘blank canvas’ on which to develop the brand and the digital presence for this business.

GKC shared their business plan – and their dreams! – with us here at Bloom so we could completely understand their ethos, their commitment and their goals.

The main element was that their business would be online only in the beginning, and GKC would be reliant on their digital presence to build their customer base.

Bloom’s remit was to create an irresistible online presence that would convert visitors to customers, and for customers to then recommend GKC to others.

The Solution

The advantage of working with a start-up is that the branding collateral can be created in cohesive way, so the message was clear from the beginning.

Neil and Carole already knew the importance of unique and clear branding and we worked closely together to design a logo and brand message that was instantly recognisable. In turn, it could be used on workwear, work vehicles, in photoshoots and across their social media and digital platforms.

The website, which was of crucial importance, was a custom-designed WordPress site and the design and build included a Search Engine Optimisation strategy.

Key elements also included easy site navigation, stunning images, and easy yet effective calls to action.

The Results

The project included all aspects of website creation, from researching the domain names to design, from build to content creation, and from ensuring the website looked amazing on all devices.

As with many interior design businesses, images and product names were key and GKC worked alongside well-known brands such as Kelso and Zola, which had to have prominence on their website.

Just as important for a new business was its position in Google searches.
Here at Bloom Creative Design, we believe that appearing on page of one of Google is totally achievable and without needing to use Google Ads.

Getting onto page one of Google is the result of lots of hard work that seamlessly interweaves so that all elements worked for the same end purpose, namely, to get those customers engaged and converted. This includes deft key word research and other skills from the highly trained Bloom team.

Within months of launch, GKC had an enviable position on page one of Google, and in the Warrington area alone, there were 170 people a month searching ‘kitchens Warrington’ … that was a lot of potential clients.

The Outcomes

Our ongoing support for GKC shows that an impressive 60% of their website traffic comes from a Google search, and the team gets leads from their website every day, which is an amazing achievement.

By the close of 2020, and after being just 18 months in business, Neil and Carole were able to employ a full-time kitchen fitter.

The relationship we have with GKC is a long-term harmonious one that includes a supportive care plan.

No business can afford to leave their website ‘as is’. Ongoing work is required to keep and maintain a good Google position, as there will always be a competitor ‘snapping’ at your heels, trying to usurp you and all the hard work you do.
